We have everything you need, including world class athletic facilities, incredible on-snow training venues, state-of-the-art classrooms, focused study areas, comfortable dormitories, and fun places to hang out.

Our soccer and lacrosse fields are surrounded by four dormitories, our LEED Certified Library, the Hobart administration building, a dining hall, and the Doug Parker Student Center. The Weiss Academic Center provides dedicated classroom facilities, complete with state-of-the-art science laboratories, while our art and theater studios provide students with a unique opportunity to hone their artistic talents.

The Racing Performance Center, our newest building on campus, offers facilities to better our athletes both on and off the slopes: a 7,000-square-foot multipurpose gymnasium, weight room, cardio room, dual-depth pool, physical therapy suite, state-of-the-art ski tuning equipment, and more. This 30,000 square foot U.S. Ski & Snowboard High Performance Center is unlike any other facility in the East. Come see for yourself.

Getting Here

GMVS is located in Fayston, VT, in the center of the Mad River Valley, the heart of Vermont’s snow country. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, both nationally recognized ski resorts, are within a 10-minute drive from the GMVS campus. Two shopping centers, numerous sport shops, coffee shops, Vermont specialty stores, a movie theater and numerous art galleries within a ten minute walk from campus.

Majestic mountains, covered bridges and Vermont dairy farms overlooking the meandering Mad River welcome visitors to the valley. Over 25 restaurants and 35 inns and B&Bs offer scrumptious dining and cozy New England accommodations. Luxurious ski resort townhouses, condominiums and hotel suites are also available.
