Alpine Program Director


The Alpine Program Director provides strategic direction for the Alpine Program, and is responsible for developing an environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their athletic potential, recruiting and retaining mission-appropriate student-athletes, and educating and inspiring the coaching staff to deliver on the school’s mission and strategy. The Alpine Program Director reports directly to the Head of School, and serves as a key member of the school’s leadership team.

Candidates should demonstrate the following qualities and capabilities:

  • Possess a clear and thorough understanding of the complex GMVS organization

Alpine Coaches


Multiple positions are available at both the Academy (U14 and FIS level) and within the Junior Race Program.

Candidates must have a passion for skiing, demonstrate a strong commitment to athlete development, and have a proven track record of quickly developing rapport and helping athletes continuously improve. Candidates should value access to world class training facilities, show a keen interest in supporting athletes throughout the year, and understand the tenets of long term athlete development. In addition, candidates must be effective communicators, well organized and prepared to lead and manage a small group of athletes.

Director of Finance and Operations


A key member of the school’s leadership team, the Director of Finance & Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the school, ensuring seamless integration between academic, athletic, and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the Head of School and engaging across all of the essential functions in the organization, this person will work closely with the Business Manager and directly manage the accounting and finance, payroll, information technology, and human resources functions, and provide active oversight of facilities, legal affairs and risk management, auxiliary programs, as well as the campus health, safety, and security functions and the personnel specializing in those areas. In support of the fiduciary responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, the Director of Finance & Operations will work closely with the Finance Committee, and provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting. The Director of Finance & Operations will also collaborate with external partners and stakeholders, representing the school’s interests in negotiations and strategic partnerships.
