Alpine Coaches


Multiple positions are available at both the Academy and within the Junior Race Program.

Candidates must have a passion for skiing, demonstrate a strong commitment to athlete development, and have a proven track record of quickly developing rapport and helping athletes continuously improve. Candidates should value access to world class training facilities, show a keen interest in supporting athletes throughout the year, and understand the tenets of long term athlete development. In addition, candidates must be effective communicators, well organized and prepared to lead and manage a small group of athletes.

Business and Development Associate


The Business and Development Associate works part-time (~20 hours/week) in support of both our development and bookkeeping efforts, providing administrative assistance in both departments. They will work closely with the Business Manager to manage accounts receivable, billing related to ski travel, and the reconciliation of donations with QuickBooks. For the Development office, this individual will manage the CRM, DonorPerfect, along with some donor research. Several times during the school year, the office may need extra hours beyond the expected 20 hours/week.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the donor CRM (currently DonorPerfect) ensuring the database is regularly maintained and updated.
  • Process donor acknowledgement letters and year end giving statements
  • Manage ski travel related billing and invoicing to students
  • Oversee invoicing in Tuition Management, QuickBooks, and DonorPerfect
  • Record deposits in QuickBooks from online portals.
  • Reconcile DonorPerfect records with QuickBooks monthly
  • Execute queries and exports in DonorPerfect
  • Manage online platforms (GiveCampus, Double the Donation, Ready Set Auction, etc.)
  • Assist with managing the database for events

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advance experience using a CRM, preferably a non-profit CRM like DonorPerfect
  • Experience with online auction software like Ready, Set, Auction
  • Experience with donor research
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, and spreadsheets in general
  • Experience with accounting software and specifically, Quickbooks

Director of Finance and Operations


A key member of the school’s leadership team, the Director of Finance & Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the school, ensuring seamless integration between academic, athletic, and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the Head of School and engaging across all of the essential functions in the organization, this person will work closely with the Business Manager and directly manage the accounting and finance, payroll, information technology, and human resources functions, and provide active oversight of facilities, legal affairs and risk management, auxiliary programs, as well as the campus health, safety, and security functions and the personnel specializing in those areas. In support of the fiduciary responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, the Director of Finance & Operations will work closely with the Finance Committee, and provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting. The Director of Finance & Operations will also collaborate with external partners and stakeholders, representing the school’s interests in negotiations and strategic partnerships.
