Financial Aid

We believe that the decision to attend GMVS should be based upon students’ interests and desires, not upon the cost of attendance. GMVS understands that not every family can afford the cost of ski-academy education. Therefore, GMVS offers financial aid to qualified students. We expect each family to contribute to the extent they are able, and aim to make the GMVS experience possible for students from all financial backgrounds.

Applying for Financial Aid

GMVS uses a nationally standardized system for financial aid offered by School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). Each family completes a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and submits it to SSS online at https://www.solutionsbysss.com/parents. Upon your request, the PFS is sent to GMVS (School Code: 3543). Financial documents required for submission to SSS will be handled with the utmost level of privacy.

The financial aid committee determines financial aid grants for admitted students based on a family’s demonstrated need. Although GMVS benefits from a robust financial aid budget, there is no guarantee that the full amount for which a family qualifies will be granted.

Any family with an “estimated family contribution” (assessed by SSS) less than the tuition charged for the year is eligible to receive a financial aid grant.
