Joe Swensson ’04 continues to battle it out on
the tough ski cross circuit, and last week he was 6th in the Sprint
US Grand Prix at Canyons, UT. He was the top American finisher, and had this to
say about his race (from www.ussa.org):
really happy with my day overall. It would have been nice to get into the
finals. I've had some bad luck in the last run there, I ran into a guy, but
that's a part of ski cross. It was nice to catch up here in to fifth. I wish I had
my teammates with me, but next time. Read more...

February 5, 2012 ~ There is plenty going on around here to keep folks entertained during the few moments they have of ‘down-time’. This past week is no exception. On Wednesday, the kids were treated to a magic show, courtesy of Fitch Spencer (and his 16th birthday bash, hosted by his folks). Several of our students served as ‘assistants’ for the comedian/magician who did a great job of amazing us with his sleight of hand, as well as his gentle ribbing of his youthful helpers on stage. Out on the lower field, a group of students has begun to resurrect the hockey rink, and with the cold snap... Read more...
