What makes GMVS unique in the world of ski academies is that we offer top ski racing opportunities in a community with theater and arts, spring and fall sports, and excellence in academic achievement.

GMVS has a diverse and experienced coaching staff and amazing training facilities. Our Alpine racing facility, the Kelly Brush Race Arena at Sugarbush Resort, provides two dedicated and FIS homologated training trails with two private surface lifts and a chairlift to allow for continuous training on a variety of terrain. We have warming buildings at the top and mid-run with a clubhouse conveniently located at the base. Our 150+ rolls of b-net offer unmatched protection. GMVS also owns snow guns to ensure great early season training. For dry land training, our 30,000 sf Racing Performance Center (built in 2014) combines high performance athletic spaces with cutting edge ski tuning (including a state of the art Wintersteiger tuning machine), comprehensive video analysis, advanced physical therapy, therapy pool, locker rooms and all coaches’ offices in one central location.

All student-athletes at GMVS follow the GMVS Code , a document that outlines the mission, the vision, and an informal code of conduct for the entire GMVS community. We have posted copies of The Code throughout campus and continue to reinforce it in many of our community-building events, including school assemblies, advisee group sessions and many areas of student life.
