The Center for Academic Excellence exists to meet the educational needs and maximize the full potential of every student at GMVS. There are both fully comprehensive and writing specific components to the program. The center teaches foundational skills which enhance student confidence and strengthen a student’s inquiry, creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills. The center supports students in developing self-advocacy, time management, study and test taking strategies. Schedules within the program are built on an individual basis, informed by the focused needs of each student.  Additional fees are associated with enrollment in the program.
